Administration: The entire contents of the sachet must be dissolved in about half a glass of cool water and consumed immediately. It is usually recommended to be taken on an empty stomach, preferably at bedtime after emptying the bladder, to maximize its effectiveness.
Dosage: For uncomplicated UTIs, it is typically a one-time, single dose; repeated daily doses do not improve efficacy and may increase side effects.
Efficacy: Symptoms usually begin to improve within 2 to 3 days. It is crucial to complete the full course as prescribed by a doctor to ensure all bacteria are eliminated and to prevent the infection from returning or causing antibiotic resistance.
